Thank you Kokila ! Long time since I saw you 🙂
Yeah Girl ..was a little busy with life ! :)) Back to blogging now 🙂
The last line… 🙂 🙂 Lovely! magnifies this Haiku. Am a pluviophile too!
Thank you Shanx ! Yeah, the rains captivate me each and every time. However, I wonder who made up these terribly soulless words like ‘pluviophile’ and ‘petrichor’ for words related to something so magical as the rain 🙂
haha! The feel that rain brings along every time is different – a mystery. These words though sound distant.. still do the job (I wonder if any word could ever captivate this feel though) Keep writing!
Will do, my fellow pluviophile 🙂
I treasure rain all the more after moving back to the desert from the Pacific Northwest.
You should come to my place, Kerala. You’ll love the way the whole State becomes a riot of the most amazing green during the rains. Its as if Nature throws a party 🙂
Not sure what they have in them.. the rain drops.. even I get lost in different world when I sit and try to collect those drops, try to communicate with them.. cant describe in words.. but ya its true I always get lost somewhere with them.. 🙂
Andy, the rains have cast their spell on you too ! Now there’s no escape 🙂
Madhu, the rains never fail to fascinate me 😊
Thank you 😊
